X-Ray Machine

Inpatient Services

The Radiology Department is a 24-hour imaging service that uses state-of-the-art x-ray
producing equipment to generate images of the tissues, organs, bones and vessels of
the body, as prescribed by providers, to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury.

Procedures are also performed at the patient's bedside using mobile radiographic equipment, in surgical suites through the use of mobile fluoroscopic (C-arm) units, as well as in the Emergency Department, and recovery room. Medical imaging procedures are performed by adapting the variable technical parameters of the procedure to the condition of the patient, assuring minimal radiation exposure to patients and personnel.

Outpatient Services

Radiology provides complete outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Comprehensive x-ray is available for skeletal, abdominal, chest, genitourinary (GU) and gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostic testing. CT scan of the brain and body and abdominal and musculoskeletal Ultrasound are available. A provider order is required for all procedures.
